POMELO
The pomelo is the only citrus not originating from Sothern Asia, but from Barbados . It is commonly known as “grapefruit”.
The pomelo would be, according to sources, a natural mutation of the grapefruit.

The main varieties are :

• Marsh seedless : white flesh, very juicy and a bit sour.
• Ruby – Ruby Red : pink flesh; cultivated in Florida.
• Star Ruby- Sunrise : red flesh, juicy and seedless.
• Sweetie : hybrid of pomelo and grapefruit.
